Guide: Getting Started

Joining the Server

What players should know before loading in, including whitelist flow, first connection expectations, and account setup basics.

What it is

This page covers the real first-contact flow into Hallowed Hills: getting through the server entry process, reaching the multicharacter screen, selecting or creating a slot, and making it into the city without missing the systems that matter in your first ten minutes.

How to get started

Join with your normal server connect flow, make sure you are cleared through the server entry requirements, then move through character select and spawn rather than trying to skip straight into a random location. The city is set up to introduce you through the actual spawn and housing stack.

How it works in practice

The first login path runs through `qb-multicharacter`, `qb-spawn`, `ps-housing-main`, and the Hallowed Hills HUD layer. If you are a first-time character, the system can push you through apartment selection before you settle into your permanent routine. If you are returning, you can usually pick a normal spawn, owned house, apartment, or your current location path.

What to know before you commit

Think of this as your foundation check. If your character slot, spawn choice, apartment, and starting menus make sense, the rest of the wiki gets easier immediately. If those are messy, every other system feels worse than it actually is.

What this wiki leaves out on purpose

The wiki explains the entry flow, but it does not publish any protected whitelist logic, internal admin controls, or hidden staff-side moderation tooling.

Practical Flow

How to get from connect screen into the city cleanly

Step 1

Connect normally and let the server finish loading into the character selection scene.

Step 2

Choose an existing character or create a new one through the multicharacter flow.

Step 3

If this is a fresh character, finish the first-time setup and apartment selection instead of trying to skip it.

Step 4

Use the spawn UI to enter through your apartment, owned property, last location, or a standard city spawn.

Step 5

Once you are standing in the city, get your phone, inventory, map, and first destination sorted before chasing bigger systems.
